SEA TRIALS COMPLETION OF UCA’s OCEANOGRAPHIC VESSEL
SEA TRIALS COMPLETION OF UCA’s OCEANOGRAPHIC VESSEL
Oceanographic vessel UCADIZ, owned by Cádiz University (UNIVERSIDAD DE CADIZ), has successfuly completed an extensive sea trials program managed by INNOMARITIME.
In March of this year, the UCADIZ went through several major repair works, under the supervision of INNOMARITIME engineers.
Our engineers took care of repair works specification; planning; coordination; supervision; inspection; QC; and delivery to Spanish Maritime Authority. Once these repair-works were completed, the different systems on-board were tested during HAT trials.
Scope of work of INNOMARITIME for commissioning included the development of testing-procedures for harbour trials and sea trials; tests’ scheduling, coordination and execution; and preparation of final sea-trials report.
The vessel is now working in different archeological and oceanographic campaigns promoted by Cádiz University.
